My basic ramblings. Read on if you like. I'm not generally concerned about being "PC" so if you're a crabby person...save yourself some stress. Don't read.
Shot to hell

Days off. A beautiful thing.
Most of us, use the time to run errands and clean the house.
Not me. I do that on one of my short days, so on my day off I can do absolutely nothing.

But. I always end up doing something on my day off. Generally, something I had no intentions of getting into.
Like this past weekend. Sunday is my best day off. I usually spend the whole day toying around with my little projects or writing.
Then veg on the couch, watch Charmed and eat ice cream.
But this past Sunday, I spent most of it straightening out my computer thanks to the teenager.
See? Things I never intended to do.

Ah well.
Today. Day off. I went to lunch with friends. Went to Chili's. Had a margarita and had some fun with the two of them before they scooted off to the mall to browse what was about and check out chicks.
Being a girl friend has it's rewards. I get to hear what guys really talk about and if anyone ever gives me hell in a bar, I'm usually backed up. It doesn't happen often. Maybe once every couple years...usually some guy who has had too much whiskey.

Right now. I am looking for ways to change my boot screen.
I tell ya, that wincustomize site is really something.
Lots of toys.
I like toys.
I'm going to figure out that boot skinner and make one that says "Download anything without asking and I'll kill you."
Or one of the many Happy Bunny says I have decorating my monitor right now.
Have you seen Happy Bunny? He's hysterical!
My fave is the one that has him with his paws over his mouth and it says "It worries me how dumb you are."
I think it's funny.

Well. Back to the research mode. I really am kinda excited about being able to modify my computer to make it truly mine.
It's neat!
Ta ta for now.

I miss the dark side.

You should make a picture of a young child being hanged for your boot screen. I'm sure the kid's mother would love hearing that story

I already know that some days, she considers doing that herself.
He is a teenager. He's been slipping a little in school, and usual teenage stuff.
She gets the "mom" face and starts sentences with the phrase.. "One of these days...."

It's the parent curse.
"I hope you have children that act just like you do!"
