My basic ramblings. Read on if you like. I'm not generally concerned about being "PC" so if you're a crabby person...save yourself some stress. Don't read.

Ok. I admit. XP isn't evil. Bill Gates. I'm still thinkin he's the devil.

Ah, so I have XP now. And I must admit some things are pretty neat about it. I haven't tried making a DVD yet. But, tomorrow is another story. Well, later today. I'm still operating on the "It's Friday" premise.

A story. I said I would tell you one. What should it be?
My name. It's not an interesting story. But it's a story none the less.

Since I was little. Probably one or two, my mom and dad have called me Lisa. And so, everyone else did. I grew up with that name and so did my cousin. Needless to say, Christmas got fun. You ask for one, you got both.
Around the time I turned 13, I decided that my name was Alicia, I didn't care much for the formal, so I shortened it. To the first 3 letters. And poof. Ali. Now, my mother was not crazy about the name. She would tell me that is not what she named me, and I would tell her she didn't name me Lisa either. She couldn't argue with that.
My dad, still calls me Lisa. As do my brothers. Ah, well. I adjust. Ali fits who I am. I like the name.
If you could change your name, what would you like to be called?

I will attempt to go to bed now.
Night all

Jeremy. I do like my name alot, especially my full first-middle-last name (which doesn't get used online).

If I were to pic another one...it'd probably be something crazy and italian. Maybe Giuseppe or Cordiano.

I remember when I was young and impressionable, that I tried to convince my parents that it was necessary for me to change my last name. To Hayes. As in Chris Hayes. The guitarist for Huey Lewis and The News. I am so embarrased.

I was fond of Alexandria. I think it was a soap opera character. Hey...Huey Lewis and the News was cool!

I don't mind my name. Alicia Anne

I really hope my children don't kill me. I gave them unusual names.
Sheanice and Darion.

I really wanted them to be the only one with that name in their classrooms.
