My basic ramblings. Read on if you like. I'm not generally concerned about being "PC" so if you're a crabby person...save yourself some stress. Don't read.
Mind you...it's an Northern East Coast point of view

Lately, I have noticed that being a "redneck" is something to be proud of. Seems to be. Blue Collar TV, Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson. Being a "redneck" seems to be the title to have.
I'm not saying it's bad or anything, just saying it seems to become trendy. And that's so far away from traditional redneck, it ain't funny. I don't care who you are. Git-R-Done.

I'm still Djing. But I am seriously considering moving away from here. Only a few of my friends have been told I'm making the plans to go. Two to be exact. It's probably a year away, no sense getting everyone in a tizzy for no reason.
It's time.
Upstate NY has lost it's appeal to me. Time to head off into the sunset and see what else there is to see.

How many of you watched Roswell on the WB? I did, then I got into the books. Well, there were three that picked up where the show left off from UPN. (It's third season went to UPN which seems to be the kiss of death for any series that goes there) I read the first one "A New Beginning" then I read "Pursuit" little did I know, "Pursuit" was the first of two. The second being "Turnabout". To my surprise and horror, neither Amazon or Barnes And Noble had this book. No one seemed to. Used copies went for $36. I'm not kidding. Out of fustration and desperation, I contacted the author via his website, and BEHOLD! He sells the book! And he autographed it for me!! Andy Mangles is one of the nicest people. He even had the co-author sign it too. A. Martin. Nice guys. Really.

That's me lately.
I've also been looking into the Yaqui Indian Tribe of Northern Mexico. They've got some interesting ideas about our world. And if you are a student of all things and can look at everything around you objectively...I highly recommend Carkis Castaneda's books. He's got a whole series written about his time with them.

Ta ta for now.
Hope this found you well
