My basic ramblings. Read on if you like. I'm not generally concerned about being "PC" so if you're a crabby person...save yourself some stress. Don't read.
Days Not Totally Well Spent
Published on May 1, 2004 By MisfitChicks In Misc
Well, I had 4 days off in a row. A rarity for me. So far, 2 have spent wandering about running errands, helping other people and basicaly trying to fix things around the house. Not a fun way to spend the last 2 days.

Has anyone else been following Stephan King's Kingdom Hospital? A most awesome show, if not strange. But that's part of the charm. I really should go get that book. I am fascinated with that show now. I can't wait for the next episode. And Andrew McCarthy...always been a hottie.
Also, I really hope Tru Calling gets renewed for another season, it's just getting good. The addition of Jason Priestly and the whole good vs evil, ying and yang thing is really outstanding. Plus, the mystery of her father and what does he have to do with Jack? Oh, it's getting fun. Let's hope Fox has brains and keeps it around for at least another season.

Murphy's Laws of nail polish. The second you put it on, you either have to go to the bathroom or someone is having a crisis in which you will need your hands.

Driving offers some time to think. At least, drving in the country. Where there's not 80 people with questionable driving skills wandering around. And who gave them a drivers license? Holy smokes! I swear, they may be nice people in person, but them behind the wheel of a car, and they turn into Mad Max! No concept of lanes or turn signals. Just willy nilly all over the place and forget about them reading the signs. It's construction season, which means lots of detours, you think those people read that sign? NO! I almost got side swiped by some widget or other with a cell phone jammed to his ear (Illeagal in NY state, by the way) and totally not looking around him. Thank god for my horn and a fast foot on the brake. I also flipped him off. But that was me being rude. I must admit. I too suffer from the occasional bout of road rage.
Anyhow, I wish I had a tape recorder with me, while driving for some of the ideas I have for stories. They come when I'm spacing out on the road ahead. I try to remember, but I live in town, and, like I said, there's a lot of construction going on right now. By the time I navigate my little car home, I've forgotten most of it. Fustrating.

Well, I must get back to editing my episodes and taking them off my hard drive.
Hope this found you well.
Take care of you

Welcome to my world! I'm a truck driver and deal with those folks every day.

Good read

Aw, Mason. You have my complete sympathy.
I am a huge fan of truck drivers. My uncle is one.
I have total respect for them. I always try to give them plenty of space.
I can't imagine a harder job than driving a multi ton machine down tiny roadways, and having to deal with little Mr Nobody who thinks his sports car takes priority over your rig.
Keep the good times rolling.
Take care of you
